I will reiterate that the materials not being converted to URP is NOT the problem. I'm willing to learn if necessary but please simplify the jargon :) ) I don't know all the intricacies of the program or project settings yet (read layers and tags may be what was affected by the destructive asset, but I have done little to nothing with either so far. I didn't receive a solution when I finally heard back, and I can't afford to pay for the technical support service. I already tried contacting Unity customer support. Though I normally do read reviews and technical details for assets I wasn't suspecting an asset developed by Unity themselves on the asset store would cause such damage to a project. I have the right version of unity for the asset. I should have done regular project backups, but encountered errors early on so I haven't. This is a solo project on a computer with poor internet so no collab or cloud backups. I desperately need a reasonable fix, please. I have been working on this project regularly for two years. It didn't overwrite my files, because the files weren't created, IT deleted them, wiped them clean, and replaced my project with a clean slate. And it wiped my project clean.īack to its creation. To try to stop the issue, i tired to submit my project changes, but to no avail, because it said the changes could not be uploaded.
